Boxing Equipment Review 101

Hi Chris

Thanks for your reply, yes indeed you can use the same gloves for sparring and bag work, its quite important to “box your gloves in” if you know what I mean. Your gloves should become an extension of your hand. You can prevent a lot of the smell by wearing wraps and after your training to hang your gloves in a well ventilated area. The more expensive gloves have absorbing qualities and are able to open up more which also helps with the smell factor. Like anything, if you look after them, they will look after you.

In my next few posts I will be covering bags, wraps and for the protection aspect of it your mouth guard and headgear for when you go to the next level of sparring. I had my first sparring fight on Friday. My opponent chose not to come out for the third round. My first technical knockout win.

Happy boxing
